
Chairperson: Appointed to the standing committee by the president.
Membership: The committee should have at least five members, consisting of a chairperson and four or more additional members all appointed by the president for a one-year term.
Responsibilities:
- Editing and publishing the organization's newsletter.
- Maintaining a history of the organization's activities.
- Maintaining and updating brochures and handbooks explaining the organization's objectives, programs, and activities.
- Preparing quarterly reports on accomplishments, scheduled business activities, and requesting funds for supplies.
- Create, maintain and update the AAKC web site: www.aakc.org
- Review publications created by other AAKC committees for consistency as to artwork, logos and other criteria established by the Publications Committee.
